I'm currently taking an engineering class in high school, (POE) principals of engineering as a sophomore and I need to interview a certified engineer.

Aye, I might be up for this, graduated with a masters in electronic engineering, worked for siemens for 3 years on designing power transformers, absolutely hated the job so ended up re-training for a career at sea which is where the transformers were going, had to do a paid apprenticeship for 3 years to get a bachelors in marine engineering, which is just mech and bits of electrical. Now work as a merchant navy engineering officer working towards chartered engineer status. Any of my experience useful to you?

Never, mostly worked cruise ships where everyone treats it like a fuckfest free-for-all, met my wife there and we decided to end the cruise life, that was 3 years ago, we nowadays I work 2 weeks on/off for a local ferry company. The locations are shit, but i'm home a lot more so...
