In around one month my first Semester of math degree will start. The last Time i bothered with math was 2.5 years ago in highschool and i was a good but not excellent Student without putting in much effort.
How realistic is it that I will be university ready in one month?

It's definitely possible so long as you're able to work and grind. The basics of math are taught in the first year of undergrad. Maybe your algebra will be rusty, but there's a wide variance of preparation coming from incoming students. It's work ethic that counts more than anything

I think most functional people find methods to integrate their deficiencies. Sad thing about ADHD is it gets diagnosed so young that medications probably impact brain development. A doctor offered my parents the opportunity to test out a dose of drugs after they brought me in because I was having trouble in school, all of my grades were great but my behavior was bad. They declined, wanted to see if I'd grow out of it. I did. Managed to get a bachelors and going after my second now.

Im diagnosed at 20 and looking back i wish i would have been diagnosed earlier. I think it being undiagnosed for so long fucked with my head. Not necesseraly for meds, but more for just recognizing the Problem and getting some other form of treatment.

Yes i did and ive come to the conclusion that theyre mediocre parents (or a tad worse). Not bad because, they do love me in the end, never abused me, i had a good childhood, taught Good manners ,always fed me etc. but not great/high average since they dont recognize or seem to care that me/my Brother are struggling, not really going out of their way to Support us, blaming everything on character faults and probably more things that i cant think of right now.
I think if I had better parents i would be better off mentally in other regards (confidence for example), but it wouldnt really Change the adhd diagnosis except less severe symptoms in some areas.
Maybe earlier diagnosis would have made them reconsider me and my brothers symptoms and treat us differently or Support us more. At the very least i would have gotten Support from a councelor to help me cope with the symptoms.
Anyway i moved out finally and hope my Situation and mental health improves slowly but surely from now on.
