Going diagonally from left to right in the center, it seems that the number keeps increasing by 1.
Going diagonally from right to left in the center, it seems that the number keeps increasing by 3.
Lookin at it vertically in the center starting from the top, it seems that the number keeps decreasing by 4.
Looking at it horizontally in the center from left to right, it seems that the number keeps increasing by 2.
Going diagonally from right to left in the top center AND the right center, it seems that the number keeps decreasing by 6.

Here's another one: In many IQ tests, shapes are used instead. And since every row or column has to have at least 3 shapes, some puzzles like to put two shapes and one of them is the result of the two, where each line in the two shapes that intersect gets eliminated and the other lines get added into the final shape.

Pic related's a good example of what I just said. Look vertically. The answer is A.

Here is a 4x4 magic square repeated many times. Notice anything interesting? Every bold 2x2 square sums to 34. Any combination of 4 of those squares into a 4x4 magic square creates a magic square. If you draw a line from each 1 to an adjacent 2 (horizontal, vertical or diagonal) and then a line from each 2 to an adjacent 3, etc. (also drawing a line from each 16 to an adjacent 1 to complete the cycle), you'll notice an interesting pattern.
