Tell me why getting energy from trash and solar energy isn't a better idea than muh nuclear garbage power?

>Don't fuck up entire countries if something goes wrong
>There's enough energy from the sun and trash to provide energy to all humans

nuclear may work in theory, but is too expensive unlike getting the energy from trash and solar.
