Aren't shorter people healthier in general? If everyone makes themselves 6ft+ then won't it just continue until people are like 9ft and have to have their joints replaced every 10 years until they die of heart failure at 50?

5 foot to 5'8 is the optimum height for heart and joints. Any smaller than that and you have blood pressure problems or a tiny heart.

Probably not for a long time and not by CRISPR, atleast not by the current variant of CRISPR.

CRISPR works great to remove genetic defects where its from simple genes, but complex genes that control height and such and the need to not just remove, but also add, that's impossible at this moment.

1: For you: anything to get you an advantage to spread your genes is good.
2: For other people: anything that gives them an advantage over you in regards to spreading genes is bad.
3: For you procreating with someone using CRISPR on themselves without your knowledge: Good if it helps your future offspring to further spread their genes.
