This covers a huge chunk of stuff for mechanical e’s, is there something equivalent for other engineering disciplines? Especially electrical and civil?

This is just all the stuff I covered in machine design and mechanics of elastic bodies classes in my mech e degree. Are mech e and civ e degrees that closely aligned?

I mean, they are both pretty concerned with stress analysis (and fluid mechanics for that matter). Mech E is a lot more broad. Pretty sure civvie cucks don't know anything about thermo or heat transfer or controls or that kinda shit.

Sort of. Mechanics courses are taught either by the civil or mechanical engineering departments. There's also professors in each departments who might have had their bachelors or masters in one field and their phd in the other. I have a civil engineering degree but I work in aerospace now.
