>>10975982Well, I certainly did bring cheat sheets in to many tests and I did certainly download the solution manuals to the textbooks from which my HW was assigned. Despite that, you can still look up to me for putting in the honest effort and time needed to learn that material than any of the other students in any of those classes. In fact, more than my grades in college, you can look up to me for my many great original contributions to math and science.
Does the grade reflect how well the student learned material? Sometimes, and usually even, but you can't count on that. Since I was planning on going to graduate school, I didn't want to leave it to chance about what my grades were going to be. So although in a certain sense, possibly the main sense even, some of my grades may have been dishonest, they do accurately reflect my mastery of the material presented in the classes. Furthermore, I don't think I would have gotten a grade lower than A in any of those classes I cheated in had I not cheated, and I mainly used the cheating as an insurance policy.
