why is it that math comes naturally to me but physics makes my brain go bruh dis shit impossible
is there such a thing as a distinction between mathbrains and physicsbrains? or how do i make myself as good at physics as math?

All the rules of the game are laid out clearly in math, whereas in physics you sometimes need to know when to ignore certain things, how to interpret certain things, and how make plausible connections that can't be proven. Of course real mathematicians make these leaps of intuition too (if not there wouldn't be conjectures) but they are hidden in the presentation of math to students.

Math, at least at lower levels, is fully self-contained and consistent within the rules it sets for itself. Physics is the usage of math to make approximations about an extremely complex system which is not yet fully understood. This makes Physics necessarily a lot more of a pain than maths.

However in higher lvl math there are so many tiny details that choosing what to ignore and what's truly important can become daunting. Those who try to learn everything usually fail. Also there are much fewer exercises so you can't just do a lot of them and learn patterns like it's possible in undergrad by simply browsing stackexchange

I mean what to ignore in a problem, not what to ignore learning. A boring but easily understood example is saying friction is probably not important for this problem so let's proceed by solving the simpler problem where we ignore it. This kind of thing happens even in theoretical physics where the systems are purely abstract.

Because physics as it is taught with quantum mechanics is bullshit in reality.
QM is a good model but not an explanation of what energy, mass and matter are.

They are also working under false asumptions. Mathematics with no physical basis. String theory has been disproved mathmatically in 2017.
