What can I say, I used to think I will do programming but chemistry has always been intrinsically fascinating to me, and it is so broad and varied that there is a niche everyone can get in. You don't have to make world-famous discoveries because there are mysteries and unknown ares everywhere, and you learn get some casual knowledge about drugs, lifeforms, medicine, analytical methods, metallurgy, programming applications, quantum mechanics, polymers and non-crystalline solids.
I don't care about the money but I very much care about playing my part and make things just a bit better understood. )ife is beautiful like that. Currently working on my masters thesis.
