It exists and I've seen it. Saw it in nature, even saw it on TV once. Little V-shape lightning thing just goes across the screen past a weather man.

I wander how much of it is false memories distorting what it looks like. Like what was actually an arch of lighting and/or spark of some metal, becomes a ball floating or bouncing around.

Yeah, vid shows just a bright dot, but they had a spectrometer on it, which is interesting. Vid is searchable on youtube, last time I looked.
