Yes; CS, programming, mathematics, and physics are not sciences. It's just what glorified computational workhorses say to cope. Life sciences/medicine is only legitimate science.

It's an arbitrary distinction that isn't even that useful. Ex: Biomedical engineers research ways to make better medical devices and materials. Are they scientists or engineers or both? Who cares. Only the results matter.
