The joke in all of this is that we utilize timed tests to gauge the intelligence/ understanding of a given subject matter. Yet the actual geniuses who provided us said subject matter in the first place spent decades trying to figure it out.
The entire affair honestly comes off as some weird insincere dog show. Where the people are rated on how quickly they can answer a question rather than how they can solve said question in a novel manner. At the end of the day the novelty of a answer matters more than the speed at which you answer it. Novelty is what gets you research grants, fields medals and nobel prizes.
