I've lived with suicidal thoughts for over 25 years and the one thing that always helps me is knowing how stupid I am.

Sometimes I may feel like there's no hope for the future. I may be so absolutely certain of it that I may think I'm better off dead, but that'd be wrong. Wrong because I'm stupid. No mater how hopeless it gets take comfort in knowing you're stupid and no mater how hopeless you feel you'd be wrong to think that hopelessness is correct. Life has a funny way of working things out. Stick with it and you might see.
If you're in pain or suffering there are other ways to help with that. There's no shame in asking others for help when you need it. Try to get help.
