>>10971302I don't see why that would be the case, there are certainly many grass species native to the US; if it is indeed the case, it must be more a problem of seed choices than the existence of lawns as such. I don't see any good reason why anybody would pick non native species, native species should be easier to grow than soemthing imported, and at least to my eyes grass mostly looks the same with only minor differences.
