Can someone help me understand black body/hawking radiation? I don't have a science background, but like to read and watch documentaries.
If I understand it, a black body absorbs all wavelengths on the electromagnetic scale, but will emit heat radiation until it matches it's environment?
I don't get the virtual particles pairs, or the negative photon that removes energy from the black hole shrinking it... Cheers
