Yes, look up Michel van Biezen on YT and try using his videos to further your understanding. He's a fairly good explainer and I can't recommend him enough. His vids helped me pass my differential calculus course test.

His channel is full of math and math related subjects.

take 1/2 (e^(-ix) + e^(ix)) = cos(x) and 1/2 (ie^(-ix) - ie^(ix)) = sin(x)
hint: e^(ix) = cos(x) + i sin(x)
=> e^(-ix) = cos(x) - i sin(x)
=> 2cos(x) = e^(-ix) + e^(ix)
and
=> -ie^(ix) = sin(x) - i cos(x)
=> ie^(-ix) = sin(x) + i cos(x)
=> 2sin(x) = ie^(-ix) - ie^(ix)

Everything else follows from there

I had a unit circle printout for the longest time without even bothering to look at the easy patterns that it shows. If you know the first quadrant, you can basically derive the whole thing.
