Any advice for someone who wants to become a research assistant with the appliance of machine learning?
More specifically deep learning. My uni regularly offers a lot of jobs like that for undergraduates. After the current exams I want to learn C and perhaps C++ (they sometimes mention that as a requirement) and do some personal projects with neural networks made with Python, but other than that what advice can you give me? Either specifically in that field or as a research assistant in general.
