The gene, the calling to true, real and selfless leadership would naturally be a threat to false hierarchies, and they would do everything in their power to suppress it. But that gene would have a palpable draw on us. We would recognize it when we sensed it even if the fake reality says to isolate and even destroy it. But of course in science nothing can be completely proven.
