i deal with this everyday at work. project managers, supervisors, bosses,
i deal with volumes of technical data, facts, information, etc. i have to research, investigate, analyse, process, measure, calculate, and then create my work products based on this information.
many supervisors are too ignorant, lazy, too busy or too jaded from their own position, age or personal experience to bother collecting all the right info, so its up top me to go get this info or straight out ask them for it to save time, figuring they have it but just didn't have time to included it when they give me the project assignment.
well no of course it's not that simple, actually they get defensive, angry and pissy and attack you for bothering them with questions because they think it makes them look like less than what they think they are or want to be seen as
