Why don't analytical chemists use their know how to figure out what's in Coca Cola and other famous fast food recipes?

it's pretty easy to detect a certain compound.
it's not so easy to detect exactly how much of it is in there

Dude, even Cuba has a Coke knock-off that taste exactly the same. Everyone knows the components, and you can get the amounts by trial and error. Coke is just the strongest brand.
