We don't have the slightest understanding of the neural networks of an ant brain and how it results in ant behavior, yet evolutionary biologists nonchalantly assert that Darwinism alone is responsible for the emergence of the human brain out of a chimp-like common ancestor. For this to be taken seriously as a hard scientific claim, evolutionary science would need to fully map the neural networks of both modern man and chimps, then show from an engineering standpoint how to achieve a human brain from something like a chimp brain. If you do not even understand the very thing that is changing, from an engineering standpoint, you cannot make claims about how it changed. This is one of the reasons why evolutionary science is the little brother to the hard sciences.
