I believe your idea would be more useful if you described how quantum circuits can create a simulation of reality. We are converging on the possibility of creating advanced quantum computers. I imagine immersive vr will be one of the hottest marketable applications for simulated worlds.
I think where you lose people, is when you begin invoking the simulation argument. Call me a hater, but imo, wanting to believe in a simulated universe is just mysticism with extra steps. I am all for mysticism for its own reasons, but I don't mistake it for empirical science. However, I do believe that proper mysticism could theoretically lend insight to scientific inquiry and discovery. A prime example would be the way your perspective shifts while taking a psychedelic drug. It doesn't hardly prove anything about consciousness. It shows us how much we don't know about it.
I imagine one day we might create holographic computational interactions with light and matter.
