What does “settled science” mean? I’ve been seeing this phrase used a lot over the last 5 years or so and was curious about it. Before I say anything else I should admit that I’m mildly retarded and know nothing about science. That’s why I came here, I know you big-brained anons will have just the right answer for a dimwit like myself. Now, back to business. As I said, I keep saying this phrase “settled science” being used by many people in positions of “authority”, especially as it pertains to “global warming” aka “climate change”. I have heard of something called the “scientific method”, but myself being mildly retarded as I previously mentioned I don’t really know what that is. Does the scientific method basically mean that scientists funded by the UN get together and come up with scientific conclusions and then everybody else has to accept them or risk being mercilessly smeared by billionaire-owned media outlets and labeled a “denier”? I apologize for my ignorance on the subject, but like I said I’m literally retarded LOL! Just trying to learn more about science and I was embarrassed that I keep seeing the phrase “settled science” everywhere but I have no idea what it means. One possibility I did notice is that the author of the article from the image I posted is a guy named Jeffrey Kluger who just by completely random chance happens to be a jewish man. I’ll admit I don’t know any jewish people, so perhaps it’s just a phrase that they use around the home or in school that only they use. Maybe it’s similar to how African-Americans like to say “WAKANDA FOREVER!!!” or White people like to say corny stuff like “please”, “thank you”, and “great to see you, Dad!”. Like I said before, I’m mildly retarded, so I don’t really know anything about it but I’d like to learn so I can understand it all better. Can any of you gigabrains help a major brainlet out please? My dad would probably be happy if I gained some knowledge on the subject. Thank you.
