>>10961121The saddest part of this is that 4chan as an idea is good. 4chan is just and right and it is the embodiment of the 1st Amendment.
If this "Gary" is right then 4Chan was a key player in unifying physics when Academia could not because of the blocks that 4chan had removed through decentralizing and crowdsourcing. 4Chan would be in the history books, in every child's textbook now and forever.
But there is another 4chan that appears to actually be paid by the company, sadly. They think that /sci/ is just a place to manufacture (if necessary) "schizos" and kill or have them kill themselves, for amusement - like Terry Davis. Like a Roman Colosseum. they think this is the only way to get the eyeballs that drive ad revenue, because they are manifestly, truly, and in every aspect, evil. This cannot be downplayed: they are evil like Jeffery Dammer is evil, like a school shooter is evil, like a pedo who would rape your baby sister is evil. They are manifestly and purely evil. they have no purpose in our society and only exist by the grace of God, since we know of them and they deserve to be eliminated. This evil cannot imagine a decentralized academic hivemind - like 4chan could become - because they are literally pure evil. And if Optimum Theory is wrong, well, in a righteous 4chan that would be okay, because radical ideas might pave the way for the truth.
Of course, it is up to us the future we choose.
