Why is it that women generally look better when pregnant? When my friend was pregnant, her hair grew super thick, shiny, skin was glowing, and of course boobs were bigger. Physiologically, it's estrogen which prevents hair loss and acne plus progesterone which increases blood flow for more hair growth. Do you think there is an evolutionary advantage to this though or is it just a consequence of those necessary physiological changes for baby?
