But what's a theory?
A theory is an idea which science predicts the outcomes of experiments within acceptable error.

People tend to think Q.M. is bullshit, because the experiments that support Q.M. are hard to replicate by your average Joe Shmoe. So it's taught in classrooms as accepted facts.

I'll bite and give a crack at the HUP:
If you have CCW-circularly polarized light, it is not linearly polarized. Pass it through a linear polarization filter, and it will become linearly polarized, but with reduced intensity because each photon either is blocked or passes. However, none of these photons would have been blocked through a CCW circular filter (imperfections aside), and all would have been blocked through a CW filter. Simply by virtue of having circular polarization, the photons do not have definite linear polarization before passing through a LP filter. Definite circular polarization IS and MUST BE a combination of different linear polarization states, and vice versa. We say that there is an "uncertainty relation" between linear and circular polarization states, but what this really means is that the two types of states are fundamentally incompatible.
With the HUP, all we need is to understand that momentum is related to wavelength. A state of a single wavelength fundamentally cannot be localized, and a localized state fundamentally cannot have a single wavelength. There is some subtlety in that position and momentum are continuous variables, while polarization states are discrete. However, a basic understanding of Fourier analysis will make this uncertainty relation between wavelength and localization immediately obvious for ANY kind of wave, not just quantum waves.

Alright. HUP: Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. CCW: Counter-Clockwise. CW: Clockwise. LP: Linear Polarization.

Different children have vastly different understandings of various concepts based on the level of education they have received in various topics. Any "simple explanation" depends on the receiver having a sufficiently solid background to take an easy step from concepts they do understand to ones they don't.
It's possible to take an easy step to many QM concepts from having some background in wave mechanics and linear algebra because the concepts are either closely related or directly applicable. If you don't have that background, then you need to build it first before you can understand anything in QM "simply." Don't blame the instructor for your own lack of background knowledge.

I wasn't trying to disprove OPs statement to begin with. I actually was trying to explain why people make such statements. I suppose it's my fault for not making that clear in the beginning.

Do you have any idea what the word "theory" even means in scientific context? Theory does not mean something is speculative and unproven. That is called hypothesis, scientific theory is well proven and rigorously tested description of natural phenomena. If theory would contain "made up things" it wouldn't be called a theory. If you want to disprove QM just present those "made up things". It's as simple as that.

No, how did you even come up with this? My point was QM is complicated because underlying natural phenomena is complicated. You can't simplify underlying phenomena without loosing valuable insight.

Why isn't 99% of the world's population capable of playing Paganini's caprice no. 24 on the violin? I will never be able to play that piece of music unless I devote large amounts of my time to playing violin. Understanding mathematics and physics behind QM also requires a large amount of time before you can make sense of it and not many people want to do that.

Example: Schrodingers theorem says, that if one wouldn't know if something exists it's a physical state on its own and has to be treaten accordingly, it's a considerable final result of a research just like finding out about the existence of something or its non-existence.

Opinion: Every child knows that something rather exists or not exists, something inbetween does not and it's a question of perception and not of a physical state of the subject, to state the opposite sounds retarded and it doesn't matter if it's presented in a pseudo-scientifical way.
