This guy has quite a story, everyone who looks at his work says it has merit, then they turn around and say he's a con man who doesn't know what he's doing. And apparently there is truth in both those based on what I've read, although I can't remember the finer details, but basically he made a lot of sense to others in his field, but hit a wall with the research, then just wanted to be a celebrity, or something like that.
But supposedly there is something there in his original work, in that people didn't out right ignore him.
