I want to dedicate my entire being into enjoying this field. I have no means to afford going to anything more than a community college so I'd like to purse my education in this field all by myself. I want to start from scratch even if I know it already. Is there a specific path or book that I could follow to grasp the mathematical processes behind it?

Are there any physics enthusiasts on this board? What got you interested in this field? What's the best way you could romantically describe it? Any warning you would like to give to someone who is interested in studying it?
