For engineering: 2nd semester of freshman year
Calc II, Digital Circuit Design, MATLAB

For biology: 2nd semester of freshman year
Biochemistry I

For physics: 1st semester of sophomore year
Calc III, Classical Mechanics

I have a colleague who got her BS in Women's Studies, then got a PhD in Mechanical Engineering along with me, and now she's a well-paid tenure-track engineering professor at a private university.

Don't knock the women's/gender studies, they do learn how to research. With good research skills, you can learn whatever else you want to put your mind to.
