Although the more recent and currently popular personalities haven't and/or won't come out with anything even remotely as thought provoking as the classics, it doesn't mean what they have produced so far is worthless.
In the same light, just because Clockwork Orange, Lawrence of Arabia, and Ten Commandments came out years ago doesn't mean I'm not going to watch movies like Toy Story, The Dark Knight, Inception, etc.
