I come here from /r9k. I know that I am a brainlet. I have failed high school, yet managed to get into an accounting bachelor program.

I can tell that it is far below your level of comprehension. I do want to pose a question nevertheless:

Since accounting is boring, repetitive and stupid AND will be automated at some point in the future, does a forensic accountant serve a valuable purpose? Like a police officer, he rids the free market of white collar crime and improves the state of affairs for scientists, who's focus is on more pressing matters. the engineers and mathematicians can peacefully invent AI, space travel and VR gaming, without being bothered by chinese intervention in the market or identity theft.

Can I claim that forensic accounting helps humanity reach the next evolutionary stage (obviously not nearly as much as mathematicians or physicists)?
