SSRIs and benzos are unlikely to be having serious negative effects even when you take them. It's the antipsychotics that are gonna fuck you up. The frequency with which doctors put people on antipsychotic medication is horrifying considering the stuff basically nukes your brain into submission. People getting prescribed them for major depression is just insane.
In severe cases like acute schizophrenia they're necessary evils but antipsychotics are literal poison and should be avoided unless there's no other choice.
