I just played poker for the first time in 23 years or so. I'm curious how my strategy holds up to game theory standards.

At first, I don't like my hand. So I don't raise. A king is kind of high though, so I don't fold. A king appears on the table, face up. Two kings is a pretty good hand, so I raise, betting 1/5 of my money. The pool only had about $13 prior to my massive raise. All but one player folds.
