They want you to make ~4 papers a year at minimum. So obviously some of those are going to suck and will be kicking in open doors on top of having responsibilities to teach courses.

I remember wanting to investigate causes of mortgage rejections and like 90% of the articles were just about niggers and racism, not actual causes / process / implications. Some of them had like 1000-2000+ citations.
