I'm sorry if this doesn't deserve it's own thread but I couldn't find a related one so I just went for it. So we all know that energy is not destroyed, it is simply converted to another form. I assume that our consciousness takes energy to work. Every time a neuron fires it should be using some energy. So what does the energy used for the thought convert to? Where does that energy go? Does it radiate out of our heads into the atmosphere in the form of heat?
