Gender studies graduates never find a job in their expertise while math graduates have a lot of possibilities. Basically, with gender studies you learn nothing useful for the real world.

True but that doesn't matter for someone with connections... And you go to a top school to make connections and then land some highly paid bullshit job and get set for life. If you truly want to do something useful in your life then it is hell. But most people don't give a shit.

If I do Gender Studies at Harvard, I might be more employable, but will lack a lot of the hard skills needed to either do the highest paying jobs or start a company.
I'm factoring the fact that I'm not fond of more soft skills-oriented jobs, such as sales or marketing. It would be soul-sucking to work in fields like these.
