>>10941411The laws of electromagnetism defeat that idea. There are at least two defeating facts I can think of here.
1. The bodies involved are electrically neutral, and there is no long-range repulsion, so simple Coulomb attraction will not suffice. Both electric and magnetic dipole forces involve net neutral charge bodies, but drop off in strength with the cube of distance, instead of gravity's square of distance.
2. The magnitude of electromagnetic acceleration depends on the mass of the accelerating body, and on material considerations such as polarizability and inherent magnetism. Gravitational acceleration has no such mass nor material dependence.
