Basically a university in my country has recently opened a facility for the sole purpose of studying AI, as in literally just majoring in AI.. now I'm really scared of this because I have to very big concerns:-
1- Why shouldn't I just opt for a broader major like CS, since AI is just one part of CS that means I can work the AI jobs and a lot more...
2- Since it's a new and dedicated building for studying AI, I'm afraid I might not be able to make the necessary connections to actually get hired after graduation(keep in mind the building is in a very well-off part of the country)
3(VERY IMPORTANT)- now since this major is literally brand new for us, and it hasn't actually been taught to anyone here ever before, I have no idea what I'm getting myself into and the Uni's website doesn't have the plan for this major yet...
please fucking help me /sci/
