I don't want a biological explanation of what happens to the body.
I'm asking how the pain feeling is interpreted in the brain to be so unpleasant.
It might be a more philosophical than scientific answer.
Other questions of interest:
Can the brain be manipulated through stimulation / drugs to feel no pain?
Does heroin completely reduce pain and what does it do biologically to accomplish this?
