Even then it is correlation and not causation since all your birth chart is telling you is the general location and time of year you were born, and so everyone else born inside that same window would probably develop under similar environmental conditions, e.g. everyone born in a year with a bad harvest would likely have similar nutritional deficit leading to developmental issues, or if they're born during the same cold winter would be effected by different biochemistry of their mothers, or whatever.
It's not the stars keeping track of or influencing any of that though, they're just a precise clock that people have had access too for as long as we've been able to record information.
