They have managed to install a larping socialist in their mainstream politics who pretends to be for the people but who is actually proposing the biggest bank bailout in history. Student loan debt is in the trillions, and most of it is severely criminal. Not only that but good students who'd be worth funding already either got scholarships or paid on their own, so the entire risk management of a student credit instrument makes no sense. Wall Street knows they fucked up big time on this one. And yet they managed to have socialists, their detractors, cheering for their bailout. Man when these fuckers retire they better give seminars about how they achieved this.
