Is it true that online degrees are basically given to you? I'm currently a sophomore at college and the courses are difficult I feel that I will be taken less seriously by employers...

Here is a question for you, if an employer had to choose between you and someone with an "equivalent" qualification from a real university, who do you think they will pick? Who should they pick?
An online degree may mean something in a vacuum, and a lot more when combined with real experience, but in comparison to the real thing I doubt it will hold.
