>>10940851>So you changed your claim mid-argument then. i didn't. you just didn't get my joke. i implied that it can only be used on "schizos", as opposed to sane intelligent people, and therefor, their accounts can't be taken seriously. but you didn't get that
>the fact that entire divisions of perfectly sane and presumably highly intelligent researchers worked on this topicsure they worked on that. people are also working on neuralink right now in a hope to achieve anything in a far future even though that whole thing looks like a bust. i wouldn't invest my money on that shit
>what you would consider mind control.if you wanna call nxivm mind control, i don't have a problem with that. cult leaders inevitably get what they want by exploiting the weak, that is a form of control
but real mind control would be something /x/ tier, like anonymously tapping into someones brain and being able to rewrite his/her thoughts and sustain that for as long as you want while keeping the target helplessly unaware, and while also using avenues other than social engineering, anything that doesn't leave an obvious criminal record, anything you can't be framed for (i.e. any crimes like blackmailing, bribery, extortion, etc...).
something like this is complete fantasy
