>>10936176Not really. Current technology on renewable energy puts a cap on hydrocarbon fuels at about 3x current prices. You'll be able to make most of your nonfuel products easily. What will be interesting will be food production. Places like China and Brazil require high fertilizer usage to maintain yields. You will be looking at food production decline. I don't think people will starve, but people won't be eating meat like they do now.
