How long does it take for you to understand one page of a Mathematical textbook.
All logic+proofs etc of every single statement and sentence.

Based image, honestly can't even blame women in that case. Can only really blame them in cases like >>10935844 made, when the dude is a POS. The neckbeard in the image could definitely make enough lifestyle changes to be less repulsive (still not as a attractive as the guy on the right obviously).

Anyways, it varies a lot depending on the subject. If it is a relatively easy page, based on things I'm familiar with already or mostly examples, probably around a minute. When it is new and very notation heavy it will take me much longer. As an example, I'm currently working through Wiggins Introduction to Applied Nonlinear Dynamical Systems and Chaos; my main previous experience in the field were Strogstz book and my upper div ODEs course in undergrad. I got to the section on normal forms and it confused the shit out of me and I probably spent 5 mins a page. Having finished the excercises and a few later chapters I went back to reread some of it and flew through it, probably a minute per page, since I understood it so much better.
