What's up /sci/ feeling pretty stupid right now. Trying to solve an equation for desired gpa. Was hoping someone here could help me out.
Equation:
g=(x+y)/(a+b)
g=desired gpa
a=attempted units
b=units left to attempt
x=earned grade points
y=grade point that can be earned

I'm trying to set my equation to be y/b=?

I'm obviously missing something. can someone help me out?
