a lot of people apparently have the problem, that they cant derive concepts simply from visualization in their brain. they have to learn everything word by word.
I find that if I hold myself presentations, based on summaries that I write (based on textbooks/professor power point presentations), I can picture everything in almost like a fantasy world. I basically summarize the material written and with diagrams/drawings etc. (first of the 4 learning types). then I regurgitate the information mentally (second of the four learning types), then I pretend to teach the material to somebody (third of the 4 learning types) and I record that using my phone's audio recorder (fourth of the 4 learning types). I review the material using the audio and my written summaries.
by 4 learning types I mean: visual, auditory, reading/writing preference, and kinesthetic.
I know there is more to the learning types and types of intelligence, but let's discuss the practical application and not theories.
