T=Turtle Height
X=Table Height
1) 170=T+X-C
2) 130=C+X-T
C=40 T=60
1) 170=60+x-40
170=20+x
150=x
2) 130=40+x-60
130=X-20
150=x
C=-60 T=-40
1) 170=-40+x+60
170=x+20
150=x
2)130=-60+x+40
130=-20+x
150=x
So I think the table is 150cm tall and the Turtle is either 60cm tall or -40 cm tall and the Cat is either 40cm tall or -60cm tall respectively. Is that right?
I honestly just guessed and checked a few times before I got to here. Please explain to me how I'm wrong, if I am. I'm a brainlet who deserves to be wrong, but also whats to know why and after that how I'm supposed to figure out how to be right.
