I think the real problem with educational institutions in the USA and the reason that a 4 year degree is usually a bad investment is you spend those 4 years learning shit you should have learned in school. Give me a valid logical reason why public schools SHOULDN'T (I realize the economic and social reasons they don't) finish teaching math up to calculus and trig, chemistry up to Organic Chem, Biology, Physics, etc. in primary education. Why should the taxpayer have to pay people to get an education if they're not intelligent enough to get one? Why not have a zero tolerance failure policy on public education where if a student drops below a certain threshold in grades/participation they are sent to gula- special education center?
