The gender relativists, or whatever the fuck, clearly state the difference between gender and sex. Trivially, what they mean by gender cannot be a scientific law as it's just societal norms. What is up to discussion and there is no easy answer to this, is if certain tendencies are connected in a more fundamental way to sex. But again, this doesn't really mean that it's morally right to segragate people who choose to separate from usual societal norms.
